ABOUT US
HHS Student Council is the official student government organization of Hector High School. The motto of the student council is "being the students' voice!" We believe that the best way we can bring about change in our school and community is by actively changing it! The student council sponsors many events throughout the school year including a pink-out football game, a Thanksgiving food drive, a Christmas toy drive, and much more! The student council participates in community service as well.
Students are elected to be representatives, by their peers. Once elected, these representatives vote on the positions of President, Vice President, & Secretary! These three positions along with the advisor make up the Executive Council. Like all students, Student Council representatives are the "face" of our school. Student Council representatives are held to a higher level of expectations. They are leaders in their schools and communities.
