Patriot Day: 9/11
Student council would like to remind students of the lives lost during this tragic day in history. Students are encouraged to wear blue clothing in memory of those who died. Clothes are expected to be simple and classy out of respect for those who died.

Red Ribbon Week
The student council sponsors Red Ribbon Week in High School and Middle School in October. During this week, there will be dress-up days and pledges to live healthy drug & alcohol free lives!

Pink Out Day
This event will take place on Thursday, October 18, 2018, since there is no school the Friday of that week. Student are encouraged to wear pink outfits as part of spreading awareness for breast cancer. The best dressed girl and boy in high school will be awarded a prize. Pink Out items will be available for purchase. A part of our proceeds will be given to a nonprofit organization helping those who are fighting cancer.

Flu Prevention
The student council sponsors this event upon return from Christmas Break when most cold and flu related illnesses are at their peak. Help us keep our school a healthy environment for learning. Our Flu and Disease Prevention program highlights ways to prevent the contraction of illnesses.

Pink Out Game
The HHS Pink Out Game will be the home game on October 19, 2018. An ceremony honoring all those who have died, are fighting, and have survived cancer will take place before the game. The time of the ceremony is TBA. Game starts at 7:00 PM. Pink Out items will be available for purchase, and part of the proceeds will be given to a nonprofit organization helping those who are fighting cancer.
